Please Note...

... this is an open forum. Within certain limits, we want to hear all sides of the argument. But there are rules:

You may not be abusive, libellous, or use offensive language. You must not attack or defame any individual (though you may be fairly rude about institutions, if that's how you feel). You may not break the law, condone or encourage unlawful activity: this includes breach of copyright, defamation and contempt of court. You may not advertise. You may not pass yourself off as someone else. Except in extraordinary circumstances, you should not include contact details such as phone numbers, postal or e-mail addresses.

You may, if you choose, be indignant, critical, acerbic, long-winded or just plain cantankerous.

Any contraventions of these rules will lead to your message being withdrawn, and may result in your being barred from this site.

The new street lighting has been with us for over a year now, and whilst it caused an amount of controversy when it was first put in, I don't hear too many people complaining about it on the streets. Too old-fashioned, too modern?

5 comments , latest Nov 11, 2008  Read all comments
A great deal of traffic calming work has been carried out in the village since the bypass was built - parts of it seems well designed and purposeful, other parts less so.
