LAMBERHURST VILLAGE MARKET

The next market will be on Wednesday 6TH DECEMBER - 9.00 am to midday in the Memorial Hall As from this October, the market we will be helping to support Hospice in the Weald by fund-raising through the café. We are also planning for the sale of Hospice items in November and December including Christmas cards and a raffle to help support our local Lamberhurst Hospice team. We know that in the run up to Christmas the three months of October, November and December are busy times so come and buy presents, food and goodies. Do come along to the market, bring friends and enjoy a bacon buttie, homemade cake and fresh coffee at the café. HIDDEN FIGURES is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) - brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.
